1. I know why many of the moms I know are always busier than I am, they are constantly having to plan the next meal.
2. I know why many of the moms I know never have much time to talk on the phone, they are constantly having to referee quarrels.
3. I know why many of the moms I know never have much time to talk when the kids are asleep, that is the only time they have to just sit down and be quiet or to spend just sitting next to their husband, or to (gulp) do some actual housework!!!
And I love it, I really do. Because the house may be dirty, stuff may pile up, but, the kids are playing and they are fed. It's the basics, but at least it's getting accomplished!

I hear ya, Jeri. Dishes and laundry we'll always have with us, but we need to treasure the moments with our little ones while they are with us.

It is much easier I think when you have one... especially when my boy will just play in the same room I am in because he doesn't want to leave me...lol... If his friend is over however... different story.. constantly checking on them because silence=mischief and noise=quarreling. lol....
